1. Who we are
The data fiduciary is SVL Kranthi Group of Colleges, registered office at 1st Ward, Murthy Mahal Road, Avanigadda, Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh – 521121, India. The Correspondent & Chairman is Sri Umamaheswara Rao Dutta.
2. What we collect
For admission enquiries: name of student and parent, mobile number, email, village/town, programme of interest, optional message. For admitted students: SSC / Inter marks memo data, Aadhaar / DigiLocker reference, address, contact details, attendance, marks, and fee-payment records.
3. Why we collect it
To process admissions, conduct examinations, communicate with parents, comply with regulatory reporting (BIEAP, Krishna University, UGC, AP State Education Department), and operate scholarship and welfare programmes.
4. How long we keep it
Admission enquiries are retained for one academic cycle (12 months). Admitted-student records are retained for the duration of the course plus seven years to support transfer-certificate, employment-verification and statutory-audit requirements. CCTV recordings are retained for 30 days.
5. With whom we share
Data is shared only with: BIEAP / Krishna University for examination & affiliation purposes; the AP State Education Department for compliance reporting; SBI / HDFC payment gateways for fee payments; and DigiLocker / Aadhaar verification services as authorised by the student.
6. Your rights under the DPDP Act 2023
- Right of access — you may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right of correction — you may request that inaccurate data be corrected.
- Right of erasure — you may request deletion of data once the retention period ends.
- Right of grievance — you may approach our Grievance Officer directly.
