Founder of the institution and chair of the governing body. Sri Dutta has personally guided SVL Kranthi’s curriculum, faculty recruitment and scholarship policy since the college’s inception in 1999. He continues to teach a weekly civics & ethics seminar to second-year Inter students — a tradition that the Class of 2026 has voted “most-loved class” for the seventh year in a row.
A college born of Diviseema, for Diviseema.
SVL Kranthi Group of Colleges was founded in 1999 to give the students of Diviseema — the small island formed by the Krishna river’s seven mandals — a fair shot at the same Inter and degree opportunities that students in Vijayawada and Hyderabad enjoy. Twenty-six years later, our alumni are doctors at Guntur Medical College, engineers at Microsoft Hyderabad, accountants at the Big-4, and IAS officers serving back home.
Education that travels.
To prepare students of Avanigadda to compete on equal footing with peers from any city in India — and to come home, when they are ready, to lift the next generation.
Outcomes, not slogans.
Deliver district-rank results in every Inter stream and a Krishna University rank in every degree programme — with mentorship, modern labs, and accessible fees.
Discipline · access · dignity.
Discipline that produces results, access for every economic background, and the dignity of teaching where teachers know each student by name.
The people behind the institution.
SVL Kranthi is led by educators with deep roots in Krishna District — not a corporate management chain. Decisions about fees, scholarships, hostel rules and curriculum are made on campus, every Saturday morning.
22 years of intermediate-board teaching, eight as principal. Holds the BIEAP “Best Performing Junior College Principal — Krishna District” award (2024). Personally drafts the weekly study calendar for MPC & BiPC.
Doctorate in Commerce from Acharya Nagarjuna University. Author of three Krishna University textbooks on financial accounting. Chairs the IQAC and is leading the college’s NAAC Cycle-1 application.
